Mrs. Cordelia Fine Dodd died at Culver Hosp in Crawfordsville at 8:40 p.m. on Wed Oct 4. She had been a patient htere two days. Mrs. Dodd was born Oct 31, 1879 near wallace, Ind., the daughter of Jacob David Fine and Catherine Krout Fine. She was married to Delaney R. Dodd on June 17, 1899. She was a school teacher for 31 years in the Fountain County schools, 22 years having been spent in the V'brg schools. She retired from teaching in 1939. She was grad from Wallace HS, attending IU and was grad from Madam Blakley's Teacher's College in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Christian Church of Noblesville, Westfield Order of Eastern Star, Garden study Club and the Research Club of Noblesville. She had resided around Noblesville since her marr. For the past two months she and her husband have been making their home with Mr. WR Bruner in Crawfordsville. She is survived by her husband, two step daus, Mrs. Norma Lee DeMoss of Noblesville and Mrs. Josephine Schoolcraft of Madison, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sat, Oct 7 at 11 a.m. at the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Robert E. Pebly will be in charge and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
